Description
We’re looking to hire a full-time production assistant to help manage our digital content production, newsletter operations, and social media presence. This remote position offers an opportunity to work with a fast-paced team while helping to shape cybersecurity conversations.
Job Title: Production Assistant (remote digital media position)

Location: Remote (but must be US based)
Salary Range: $47,000-60,000
Working Hours: Full time

Core responsibilities
- Manage and distribute our newsletters
- Handle daily content production and scheduling
- Create engaging social media content and memes using Canva
- Process and upload transcripts to WordPress
- Produce Cyber Security Headlines Week in Review event materials including thumbnail creation
- Track analytics for Super Cyber Friday events
- Coordinate with sponsors on content publication
- Maintain organizational systems in Notion
- Assist with AMA (Ask Me Anything) event production
- Support live production during Super Cyber Friday events
- Manage podcast guest scheduling and booking
Required skills
- Familiarity with social media and WordPress
- Managing deadlines and ensuring timely delivery of content
- Great attention to detail
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Obsessed with improving processes <-This is key
- Ability to collaborate with a team and adapt to changing workflows and processes
- Ability to multitask across our various programming.
- Coordinate with guests and hosts for podcast episodes
Other useful skills
- Writing summaries of episodes
- Selecting topics and sourcing material for podcast episodes
- Assist in development of new and current shows
- Collaborating with the team to develop content ideas and strategies
- Familiarity with the Google Workspace apps
- Experience with project management software
- Comfortable with editing audio, video, and images, ideally in Adobe products
