Description

CISO Series is looking to hire a full-time sponsor relations manager to build great relationships with our sponsors. CISO Series is a successful B2B media network focused on cybersecurity, fully supported through sponsorship. Our sponsors are our customers, and their success is our success. By acting as the primary point of contact, the Sponsor Relations Manager will work closely with sponsors to align their marketing objectives with our platform’s opportunities and drive mutually beneficial outcomes.

Job Title: Sponsor Relations Manager (remote digital media position)

Industry: Media Network (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote (but must be US-based)

Salary Range: $70,000 – $90,000

Working Hours: Full time

Must have requirements

  • Worked in the cybersecurity industry in marketing and/or sales. 
  • Very personable with excellent communication skills.

An ideal candidate has worked in marketing for a security vendor and has been privy to purchase and management of podcast sponsorships. They understand what works and what doesn’t work for security vendors.

Core responsibilities

  • Sponsor Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with sponsors, acting as their primary liaison throughout their sponsorship journey.
  • Onboarding: Guide new sponsors through the onboarding process.
  • Campaign Planning: Collaborate with sponsors to understand their marketing goals, strategize effective campaigns, and recommend sponsorship programs.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze sponsorship campaign performance using key metrics. Provide detailed reports and actionable insights to sponsors to optimize their ROI.
  • Cycle back knowledge: Actively gather feedback from sponsors to continuously improve their experience and the effectiveness of our offerings.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about trends in the cybersecurity and B2B marketing landscapes to provide sponsors with innovative and competitive solutions.
  • Booking shows. Work with sponsors and security leader guests to book our show, Security You Should Know.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in marketing or customer relation management.
  • Strong understanding of the cybersecurity industry and its marketing landscape. THIS IS CRITICAL.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust.
  • Comfortable with CRM tools and strong opinions about their usage.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in tracking and interpreting performance metrics.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with social media and WordPress
  • Great attention to detail
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with a team and adapt to changing workflows and processes
  • Ability to multitask across our various programming.
