Security That Stops Business Flow Is Not Great Security

Make cybersecurity useful, but don’t impact the user flow. This is the charge of Benjamin Fabre (@bfabre), CEO for DataDome.

To actually understand if your security is impacting business flow, you actually need to test. You’re looking at two stats. One stat is how many attacks have you stopped. Hopefully it’s darn close to 100 percent. But you also want to look at how you’re affecting user experience. Because 100 percent security, or close to it, with a poor user experience is not going to be of any value to the business. How many users were impacted and annoyed or maybe even avoided the security experience. That’s a critical number because that is affecting business flow.
