I spoke with Jason Baker, principal security consultant at GuidePoint Security about how cybercriminal tools, once reserved for highly knowledgeable users, now feature accessible interfaces that anyone with basic networking knowledge can use. This commodification of cybercrime presents both opportunities and challenges for organizations. This is particularly challenging for smaller organizations that now face increased threats, often from legitimate tools repurposed for malicious purposes.
